I think it's very relevant to your other thread about the woman seeing her obstetrician.

Belief is a strange thing. It can override even the most obvious reality.

Yep. When you think about the portrayals of screaming womyn and fainting men in birth scenes in movies it's no wonder our perceptions are altered. So many of these scenes come from COMEDY MOVIES, and yet they have still permeated our psyches!
