Woot! I am so pleased; I hated those pieces of plastic with a passion and the weaning thereof has been pretty much painless. I was getting so frustrated with his waking at night, and during his day sleeps, that I was starting to feel like I was about to become a child abuser. So I finally got the tip over the edge that I needed to throw the things out. He's been a bit restless occasionally, but mostly he's been happy to comfort suck on me ...
