I don't think healing is something that you can complete. I think it's something ongoing, and that we never know what will set off our pain or ptsd.

Just an example : I was fine for several years, but on my babies 10th b'day I was set off again by someone reminding me about how she had met my baby before I had (I posted about it here, I dont need to recap). That set off all sorts of things in me that I hadn't revisited in years!!! Granted I had covered lots of ground and was able to face ...

Why don't we have to sign a consent form b4 they induce us? B4 they TOUCH us??? Ultimately, consent forms are a load of crap that, designed soley to protect the hospital should they stuff up.

I have one to start that sound's a bit ridiculous to me.

As I was being briefed about having a caeser with Bodhi, the Ob (who was pretty good for the rest of it) said, if I choose to have a caeser, I may need a caesar next time (which he was pretty doubtful about and told me in the follow up appointment there was no reason why I shouldn't be able to birth vaginally next time ), but, if I did have caesareans, I may risk my health if I have more three children.

This wasn't a problem ...

(sparked from thinking about Bodhi's birth GC, I hope that's okay)

So many women are led to believe that their baby is too big for them to birth. They're too short, to thin, small pelvis, inverted pelvis etc etc, when the reality is that many a tiny (and not so tiny) woman has birthed many a healthy, chubby bub. Not big as in "oh wow 8.5lbs!" I'm talking healthy chubba bubba, at least over 10lbs.

What people don't seem to realise is how completely amazing a woman's body is ...
